. Similarity
1) With high-carbon content, both graphitized petroleum coke (GPC)and graphite electrode can be used for carburizing of foundry like ductile iron and gray iron.
2) Both size can be classified into 1-5mm, 0.2-1mm or customized
3) Appearance is black.

- The raw material is different,
Raw material of Graphitized petroleum coke is Calcined petroleum coke(CPC), CPC undergoes graphitization at high temperature of 2800℃ in Acheson furnace or Graphitized vertical furnace ,abut graphite electrode Particle derived from graphite electrode scrap.
- Production Procedure is different.

3) Spec is different
Fixed carbon of graphite electrode Particle can reach 99.5%min.Usually it’s 99%min for GPC. Other content like ash and V.M can be much lower.
