The application methods of ozone catalyst in water treatment systems

1. Ozone decomposition of exhaust ozone gas (main application)

At the top of the ozone contact tank or reaction tower, the undissolved ozone will be discharged along with the exhaust gas. By installing catalyst modules in the exhaust system, the following can be achieved:

Ozone Oxygen (O₃ → O) rapid conversion

Reduce emission concentration below safety standards (usually < 0.1 ppm)

Extend the service life of fans and pipelines

Typical structure:

Ozone reaction tower Gas-liquid separator Catalyst decomposition device Fan discharge

2. Ozone removal in water (dissolved ozone decomposition)

For some scenarios that are extremely sensitive to residual oxidants (such as before RO membranes and for food water), it is necessary to remove dissolved ozone from the water:

The catalyst can be filled into the fixed-bed reactor.

When water flows through the catalytic layer, ozone is rapidly decomposed.

It does not affect the water quality and does not introduce impurities.

Compared to activated carbon:

Does not release particles

No adsorption saturation problem

Longer service life
