Introduction of Calcium Lime
Basic Information: Commonly used as a medical carbon dioxide absorbent, it consists of uniformly sized particles with a porous and loose structure. It generally contains a color-changing indicator.
Main Components: A mixture of calcium hydroxide, indicator, and water.

Product Features:
- High Safety: It does not contain sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. As a weakly alkaline carbon dioxide absorbent, it does not produce by-products such as carbon monoxide, methanol, and formaldehyde, and does not corrode containers, ensuring safe use.
- Good Absorption Performance: It has good carbon dioxide absorption capacity. For example, some products have a carbon dioxide absorption capacity of more than 160 L/kg, and the CO2 absorption rate is greater than 30%. The particles are small, with a large absorption area, uniform size, low air flow resistance, and high absorption efficiency.
- Low Dust: After special treatment, it has a low dust rate, even less than 0.2%. The particles have high hardness and are not likely to block pipelines.
- Obvious Color Change: There are different types of indicator colors. For example, pink particles turn pale yellow after absorbing carbon dioxide; white particles turn lavender after absorption, which is convenient for judging the absorption effect.
Product application: Mainly used during closed-circuit anesthesia to absorb carbon dioxide in the patient's exhaled breath and is used in conjunction with an anesthesia machine.
