Ways to ensure the efficient use of recarburizers
The recarburizer is suitable for induction furnace smelting, but the specific use varies with process requirements.
Intermediate frequency electric furnace smelting adopts recarburizer, which can be added to the lower part of the electric furnace according to the proportion or carbon equivalent requirements, and the recovery rate can reach more than 95%;
When the carbon content is not enough to adjust the carbon content, the slag should be cleaned up first, and then the recarburizer should be added. The molten iron should be heated, and the carbon should be dissolved and absorbed by electromagnetic stirring or manual stirring. The recovery rate can reach about 90%. If the low-temperature carburizing process is used, that is, only part of the charge is melted, and the temperature of the molten iron is low, all the recarburizers should be added to the molten iron at one time, and the solid charge should be used to press the carbon into the molten iron to keep it away from the surface of the molten iron. This method can increase the carbon content of the molten iron by more than 1.0%.
